Mittelalterliche Handschriften und Miniaturen

The first catalogue of Dr. Jörn Günther Rare Books, initially compiled in 1993, was republished in 1994 by Thomas Herms and collected 55 descriptions of manuscripts, miniatures and single leaves. Some of the highlights from this catalogue were a signed and dated bible by the German scribe Hermannus from 1271, which was preserved in its original binding, as well as two leaves from the World Chronicle by Rudolf von Ems. The leaves originate from in the same Zurich workshop as the St. Gallen World Chronicle.
